Senior Rugby Splits Pair

Over the past week, the Senior Boys Rugby program has had its ups and downs, but we managed to improve greatly in both offense and defense. Although battling hard for the full game, the Senior Boys suffered a tough loss to our rivals, Shawnigan, last Saturday. This was not in vain, however, as the Brentwood boys learned from the tactical and defensive mistakes made during the game and were determined to remedy these issues against Ladysmith. From the first kickoff, it was evident that Brentwood was determined to start the game well. With a tough defensive effort and a calm, accurate offense, Brentwood came out resounding winners with a score of 54-7. Upcoming games include the Island Sevens Tournament as well as the CAIS tournament next weekend featuring teams from across Canada.  Toby D, #10 Rogers ‘13
