National Rugby Championships

Five Brentonians collected medals at the National Rugby Championships this past weekend. Jenn Lemon, Ciel AB, Brooklyn N and Avi S all played prominent roles in helping the BC U18 women win the National Championship vs. Ontario in Calgary on Sunday. This was impressive given the loss BC suffered to Ontario in the round robin game the previous day. BC has not won the Nationals at this age group for several years. In addition, McKenna H won a silver medal at the Nationals with the BC U16 team. It was a great day for BC rugby with a strong contribution from the Brentwood players.
