Fernie: Ski or snowboard powder terrain in Canada!
March Break Ski Trip: Friday, March 14 to Monday, March 31, 2025
Resort Locations: Fernie, Kimberley, Golden (Kicking Horse), Banff (Sunshine), and Lake Louise
This trip is only for intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders. These mountains can be challenging and require the participant to be in good physical shape. If your child is interested in this trip, please get in touch with Mr. MacDonald at Justin.macdonald@brentwood.ca to see if your child would be a good fit for the journey. Your child needs to be an advanced skier to partake in this trip. Participants must bring their own ski and snowboard equipment.
Itinerary
March 14: Depart from Brentwood College and travel to Fernie, British Columbia.
March 15-21: Ski and snowboard at Fernie. We will also ski one day at Kimberley. Evening activities include swimming and exploring Fernie.
March 22: Depart Fernie, British Columbia, and travel to Golden, British Columbia (Kicking Horse Resort). On the drive, we will stop at a local hot spring.
March 23-24: Ski and snowboard at Kicking Horse. Evening activities include board games.
March 25: Depart Golden, British Columbia, and travel to Banff, Alberta.
March 26-30: Ski and snowboard at Sunshine and Lake Louise mountain reports. Evening activities include swimming and exploring Banff.
March 31: Depart from Banff, Alberta, and return to Brentwood College.
