University of Victoria's High School Science Challenge

Four Brentwood scientists participated in the University of Victoria's High School Science Challenge last week. Anna Kosa and Tobi Marcinek (Grade 11) took second prize out of 16 teams from across the Lower Mainland after completing a series of fun science activities involving design and engineering principles. Aron Zharadka (Grade 11) and Cassandra Yoon (Grade 12) received an honourable mention for best design. Prizes included a remote control helicopter and flying blade that the students have donated to the physics department.
