Senior Girls Volleyball win gold at ISA championships

For the second year in a row, the Senior 'A' girls volleyball team have brought home gold from the Independent School Championships.  This year's tournament was hosted by Brentwood and had 10 teams competing for the coveted title.  During round robin play, Brentwood defeated Glenlyon Norfolk House 25-11, 25-17; Meadowridge 25-10, 25-8; Mulgrave 25-13, 25-18; and York House 25-17, 26-28.  In the semi-finals, Brentwood defeated West Point Grey Academy with scores of 25-21, 25-8.  In the final Brentwood prevailed over Crofton House after an exciting 3-set match with scores of 25-15, 22-25, 15-3. Captain Anne Huis in 't Veld had a great weekend as did Tessa Felix and libero Mariya Young.
