Girls' Ice Hockey Summary

This year the Girls’ Ice Hockey program was the biggest - ever in numbers and spirit. More than half of the players were beginners, stepping onto the ice for the first time in November, starting their journey of tremendous growth. This team truly proved there is greatness in numbers, as it created the unique opportunity to create two teams, allowing every player to participate in a competitive environment. 

With their new strength and confidence fostered by this program, within weeks of being a part of this team environment, the rookies faced competitive games against our rivals, Shawnigan, while the veterans were fortunate enough to compete with teams ranging in skill and age. However, no difference was great enough to separate the powerful connection this team created. The girls never failed to show up and give it their all, and we are endlessly grateful for the constant support and dedication put in by our players, those working behind the scenes, and especially our amazing coaching staff.
