After many months of grueling practice throughout the winter months, the First XV are at the culmination of their competitive season. In a first round match against Glenlyon Norfolk on Saturday, the boys managed to pull off a convincing 50-20 victory in their last home game of the year.  Flyhalf Aaron H had a stellar performance in his first game back from injury scoring a total of thirty points, with the remainder of the tries coming from Tom S, Thomas S, Dane B & Nicholas W.  Aside from the red card received by fullback Nicholas W and numerous disciplinary penalties, the boys played a silky game of rugby, kick -starting their provincial journey. Confident and determined, the boys headed off to Abbotsford on Tuesday afternoon, hungry for gold.  Next up is Hugh McRoberts in the second round at 10:30 on Wednesday and it is essential that the boys pull away with a victory to ensure their place in the semi-finals on Thursday. With teams like Collingwood, Rockridge and SMUS down the barrel is it vital that the team stays focused and healthy for the upcoming games. Games on the 28, 29 and 30 are all at Rotary Stadium and Exhibition Park Complex in Abbotsford.
