Another First for Brentwood Rowing

Rowing has long been part of the fabric of Brentwood College School and there have been many firsts: the first Olympian, the first Olympic Gold, the first CSSRA victory, the first Boat Race winner, the first English Henley trip, the first girls’ CSSRA Gold. The list goes on and on. Believe or not, Sunday afternoon brought another first for the BCRC. For the very first time, both the Girls’ and Boys’ Varsity 8+s won Gold at the Shawnigan Regatta! Not resting on their laurels, all 18 of these athletes will be returning early from the Victoria Day long weekend to continue their pursuit of CSSRA success. Congratulations to these crews and their indefatigable coaches!
