A Night at the Carnival

Last Saturday night the BEAT and SPARC worked together to host a carnival on the McLaren Plaza to entertain the Brentwood community and raise funds for ALS research. Activities included face painting, limbo, ring toss and eat-the-donut competitions while the Student Executive Council, Mr. Patel, Mr. Felix and Mr. Allpress courageously faced the infamous ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to support further ALS research. The evening concluded with a bonfire on the waterfront with smores and hot chocolate. Sweet! A big thank you goes out to Mrs. Felix, Mrs. Richardson, Mr. Wardrop, Karli S, Hope ‘15 and the BEAT, as well as Andrea DJ, Mackenzie ‘15 and SPARC for their tremendous efforts to make last Saturday such a success. Next Saturday will feature the Rogers-Hope (Rope) Open House. Theme TBA at Thursday’s assembly.
