Theatre Production
Students interested in supporting Brentwood's vibrant performing arts—but who also prefer to make their contribution from behind the scenes—can join the Theatre Production Program. Creative opportunities for students include stage management, lighting-console operation, sound editing and design, projections, special effects, and theatrical design.
Working backstage and in the booth, students will set up and operate sound and lighting equipment guided by our experienced instructors. Students will learn the importance of efficient teamwork as they run all of the technical aspects of our in-house productions—including the annual musical, evening concerts, dance showcase, and weekly assemblies. Theatre Production (“Theatre Pro”) students also have the opportunity to support performances outside of the George Killy Theatre, including concerts in Crooks Dining Hall and in the open-air Campbell Commons gathering space at our annual Brentwood International Regatta.
